Many times, your printer stops working due to corrupted drivers, bad configurations or faulty connections, etc. apart from this, paper jam and no ink error sometimes cause this issue. Below are the guides to fix such issues.
Check the Status of the Printer
· Check if the sufficient papers are loaded in the paper tray. If it is then, makes sure that no paper is stuck in the machine. Remove any jammed paper if stuck in the printer.
· Check if the toner is filled. If it is empty, remove the cartridge from the machine and refill it. Use genuine HP Printer ink for long use.
Cancel the Print Jobs
Sometimes, the printer stops working due to print jobs stuck in Windows’s print queue. Therefore, clear the print jobs in the queue that got stuck in the machine.
· Hit the Start button, and click on Control Panel.
· Now, open Devices and Printers option.
· Locate the printer from the list of devices and make sure that it is the only one you are facing issues with. Make a right-click on the name of the printer, and select “What’s printing” from the context menu.
· Now, from the new window, make a right-click on Printer and select Open as Administrator.
· Once this is done, click on Cancel All Documents and then click Yes to confirm the same.
